I can't say I adore this book, but it did intrigue me once I got into it. The most boring part was the beginning, but then the housekeeper begins telling her story of Heathcliff's past and that is where you get sucked into Cathy and his love/hate relationship, his despair, his violence towards Cathy's daughter and his son. By the end of the book, there is a 'happy ending' I suppose you could call it that but by far it isn't my favourite book in the world!
If I could I would tell you more but without a blurb to write I will end up giving the story away!
