I enjoyed it, as I enjoyed the other four books; but to be honest; I can't wait for the series to be over. It now just feels like Alyson is repeating plots and storylines to drag out the immortals series for as long as physically possible.
There were a few changes and exciting moments, and her writing and imagination was, as always, great! But it did just feel like a de-ja-vu story line.
It is still a good story and you should definately try to read it, at least. I will be reading Everlasting when it comes out this summer because I would like to see the end for Ever and Damen and how it pans out!

Once it seemed being immortal was a gift to Ever Bloom - now it's a curse. And she's a danger to herself.
Ever has been dabbling in Magyck - seeking to explore her own powers, hoping to find a future for her relationship with Damen. But she's not in control - in fact, the magyck has bound her eternally to her immortal enemy, Roman. Whenever he's near, she feels his heartbeat, his breath, his blood racing in her veins. Ever is in deep - and the one person who might be able to help her must never find out what she's done . . .
I am starting to get a little fustrated that they aren't together yet!! I just want them to finally be able to be together after like 600 years! I think they deserve it!
I also love another guy in this book, one who was introduced in the last book who I happen to like MORE then Damen at times...only occasionally!!! And I would like to see him being seriously considered by Ever as a future love interest!
Again, a great story in the continued life of Damen and Ever with twists and turns thrown in. Noel's writing and imagination continue to amaze me and still suck me into reading her series to the bitter end!

But as she seeks to break the curse, Ever meets Jude – a green-eyed, golden surfer boy who understands magick, and understands Ever better than she realises. She thought she Damen was her destiny - but what if fate has other plans?
I would really like some of the plots in this series to be wrapped up and some fresh ones written about, but as usual, Alyson's imagination and writing skills are top notch, and I enjoyed this book as I enjoyed the others!
I don't really know what else to say about it to be honest, I don't want to give the story away!
You should read it and continue to follow Damen and Ever on their journey!

'Be careful what you wish for...'

Things have changed for Ever since she met her beloved Damen – not least because she’s got a whole new set of powers, courtesy of her new Immortal status. Just as she's getting stronger, though, Damen seems to be weakening. Panicked at the thought of losing him, Ever finds a path to the in-between world known as Summerland, where she learns the secrets of Damen’s tortured past. But in searching for a cure for him, Ever accidentally discovers a way to twist time so she can save her family from the accident that killed them. It’s all she’s ever wanted - but so is Damen. And Ever must choose between them...
I find this book the hardest to get through in the series. Just because it is continually negative, there are good parts at the beginning, but everything after that is bad to worse, which makes it a hard book to get through to be honest. But stick with it because the books afterwards are great!
Ever is far more developed now, as a character and she continues to grow. Although she makes some bloody stupid choices in this book in my opinion, but oh well!
Great story, just needed a few more good points to stop the reader feeling depressed while reading it.

Seventeen-year-old Ever is the sole survivor of a car crash that killed her entire family. Living with her aunt in Southern California, she's plagued by the ability to hear the thoughts of those around her, and haunted by the ghost of her little sister. She tries to tune everyone out, shunning her old lifestyle as the pretty, popular cheerleader, but somehow she can't hide from Damen, the new guy at school. Stunningly handsome, clever and not a little bit intimidating, there's something about him that doesn't quite add up. Ever realises he's hiding something, but nothing could prepare her for the truth - especially when the truth involves past lives, murderous enemies, everlasting love and the secret of eternal youth . . .
This is a truly great book to read. A total twist on the paranormal romance genre and thoroughly enjoyable.
I am lucky enough to have the whole series ready to read; so I'll be reviewing the next few also!
This book is well written, flowing and holding in the right places, to keep the tension up and the story fresh.
The characters were developed and varied in their personalities. I adored Miles, just because I have what Ever and he have.
I can't wait to get started on the second in the series!

Very Happy Bunny!
I got my MKB VIP pack, and it was HUUUUUGEEE! It had a loadof bookmarks and taster posters for the Immortals Series, a t-shirt and bag with the Immortals tulips on and had (of course) the Immortals Series in it, with the 5th one (Night Star) on the way!!
I'm love MKB!!
So, because of this fabulousness book of the month'ness I will be ceasing to read The Fallen 2: Aerie and Reckoning (don't worry baby, I'll come back to you, I promise!) so I can read the fabulous Immortals series within this month, including reviewing them ALL (in seperate posts and all over the internet...seperately) to spread the word to my fellow teens about the amazingness of these fabulous books and the kindness of MKB....oh and maybe to win....I like winning, don't fault me for it!
If I was a Shakespeare character, my fatal flaw would be ambition/greed/the need to win and I would die....a bit like Macbeth...sorry bit off subject haha!
I'm very excited...but I have an exam tomorrow....so I should go revise :(
